Whether you’re getting around by car, train, or plane, traveling can be uncomfortable and inconvenient, even if you love it. Your flight can get delayed by a lot. Sitting in close quarters for a long flight can slow blood circulation and cause the muscles to cramp. Your ears can pop during take-off and landing. So pay attention to some tips that will make your next trip a breeze!
For example, make sure you have an empty water bottle in your carry-on. That way, you can get past security with no problem and then just fill the bottle up at the airport. Most have drinking fountains, so you’ll save some cash!

SUMMARY:
– If you take 1 or 2 tennis balls with you on the plane, you can use them as little massagers to relieve and prevent that pain. Roll it along your ankles, calves, legs, wrists, back, and shoulders.
– Chewing on some gum actually keeps your ears from popping during take-off and landing.
– A trash bag or two will be a lifesaver when you come out of the airport at your destination only to be met by…rain!
– The dryer sheets will keep your garments smelling fresh and clean like they’ve come straight from the laundry.
– If your luggage is marked as “Fragile,” it should be handled more carefully by baggage personnel. Plus, it’ll likely be put on top of the other bags.
– Grab a binder clip and clamp it onto the blades of your razor when you pack. This will save you from any accidental—and painful—injuries.
– You don’t need to go out and buy expensive and flashy luggage. Use a plain basic suitcase and tie a bright ribbon around one of the handles.
– When you’re packing, wrap your shoes up in shower caps. This will prevent the bottoms from dirtying the rest of your clothes.
– Whether you’re flying or driving, keep all your chargers and power cords in a good-sized sunglasses case.
– You know those pill containers with little boxes for each day of the week? They’re also a great way to store and organize your jewelry when you’re traveling.
– Keep your shirt collars nice and crisp by lining them with a belt.
– Most airlines provide a pillow and blanket so that passengers can get a nap in during the flight. Take that little pillow and put it behind your lower back.
– If you’re going to be switching time zones, start making changes to your sleep pattern the day before you leave.
– The air inside airplane cabins tends to be very dry. Drink plenty of water, or another drink that contains electrolytes, to prevent dehydration.

As a former baggage handler, I can assure you that there isn’t a sticker in existence that is going to save your checked baggage from rough handling. My advice? Buy hard-sided, high-quality suitcases. If you must have wheels, make sure they’re integrated into the bag and not riveted to it. You’ll thank me when you still have wheels when you need them.
Thanks bright side 😃😃😃😃
Ok! Thats great if you put a laptop in checked baggage. Btw,are you supposed to put gadgets in checked luggage? Or is it better to put it in carry on?
I bring a beach ball and inflate it to put on my little table to lean forward to sleep on. It works really well!
That sounds like a brilliant idea.
Once you’re in the air, pop open the drinking spout on your water bottle. The pressure differential inside will blast a shot of water through the now open spout. In my case,
it was the guy seated behind me that took the hit. Sorry, dude.
Edit: Unscrew the cap to release pressure safely.
Put all of your pocket items in a zip lock baggie. Then just pop it out at security.
Use tissue papers to keep your clothes from wrinkling and then stuff those clothes in a pillowcase to make a pillow!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is how the Queen packs!!
I like having early or late night flights because i get to see the sunrise/sunset over the world ☺️😌
That’s if you can afford it. Changing hours on a flight can sometimes run into hundreds of dollars extra and also additional layovers. Ugh.
That must’ve looked so awesome!
IKR it’s like the only reason why I love traveling a lot,
Oh yea
@Michelle Ng landed at edinburgh at 8 at night once, it was heavenly
It’s not the saliva produced from chewing gum that causes your ears to pop, it’s the motion of your jaw. The motion causes your eustachian tubes (tubes running between your middle ears and nasal cavity/upper throat) to open, allowing for an equalization of pressure. If jaw motion does not clear your ears (equalize the pressure) when taking off or landing, you can try the Valsalva maneuver. Close your mouth, plug your nose, and try to forcefully exhale. This works well when flying with a slight cold. Don’t fly with a heavy cold, not only will you make everyone around you sick, you stand a decent chance of blowing out your eardrums or a sinus cavity. I’ve done both, and they are pretty much not fun.
Also forceful swallowing, like gulping down saliva caused from the chewing gum, or even a beverage, can help to re-normalize the pressure between your sinuses, ears and mouth.
Or push the small flap on the front of your ear in, to cover the ear canal. Apply pressure and release. This can help pop your own ears.

Just like the post office!!they trow Mothers Day flowers around!!
I’ve worked in the airline industry too. That is ancient advice. I stopped marking my luggage wih ” Fragile” signs eons ago. What I heard was that the ones with the “Fragile” signs get thrown harder.
Marking luggage or a parcel as fragile will mean ‘play football with it’ to the luggage handlers.
SAME AS MAIL FOR THE POST OFFICE
😂
Lol
Yas! Haha
Wise guy 😂
😂😂:-):-)
I checked a duffle bag on a flight to London once and stuffed my prescription glasses in the bag. Someone somewhere along the baggage handling chain reached in and grabbed them. I guess they sit along the line somewhere blindly grabbing at things that feel valuable as the bags go by. So I can understand how having loose razors in checked baggage might be dangerous for the handlers who do that sort of thing.
Hilarious 😂
If you try to carry live scorpions in your hand luggage, you could be prosecuted for ill-treatment of them. They should be in a proper container with air holes, food etc and travel in the hold. 🙂
ROTFL!
Lol
