While you may think that we've become experts in the world of motorhome travel, nothing could be further from the truth. In this video, Siren and Andy will highlight some of the "dumb" things they've done while traveling. They will also discuss the importance of using customized checklists that assist them in minimizing mistakes.

Hey guys, what are you using for headsets?
father with daughter……
Can you share your checklists ?
That is a lovely motorhome you have there, quite a contrast to our 30 year old coachbuilt 👍
Hate that Hugh post in the middle of your windshield, I would start but buying a RV without that damn obstruction
Do you realize that post is functional and part of the frame? It’s an important safety feature. When you’re driving or in the passenger seat, you don’t notice it. When a windshield needs to be replaced, it’s around 25% of the price of a traditional RV windshield.
Any chance you could share your checklists for us to use as a template ? I just got a 40 foot mobile medical clinic and I am using a ton of your tips to operate it, I am actually currently putting together checklists for it and having owned an RV before , it’s practically the same drill only difference is that I’ve got medical equipment and medical exam beds instead of furniture and camping gear.
Can you tell me where to get the mic you both are wearing?
I go through quite a few microphones. In this video, I believe this is the headset I was using. It was connected to a Sennheiser wireless body pack. https://amzn.to/2Wuf5N2
Gadget Guru!!! I don’t know why anyone even asks you any questions as you never answer any of them????
Who is Siren to you? Is she your friend/daughter? She seems to be very knowledgeable to knowing things about your coach.
Are you willing and able to provide your checklists? Thank you in advance.
I’d like to, but the problem is that every motorhome is different and what works for my specific coach may not work for others. I’m truly surprised that all manufacturers don’t provide checklists at the time of purchase.
Andy & Siren I watch your videos more than once after seeing your other videos, Always something that coincides with other things, and you Professor are a Great Teacher and I know Siren makes things run smoothly as well.. Like Always a Pleasure.!!!
Hello Gadget. I’m still rebuilding my 31 year old Class A Fleetwood Southwind. I’m also updating my pre underway check list. I got rid of the old antenna that needs to be lifted, added cameras GPS, TPMS new shocks, airbags plus updated the interior to 2018 standards. The checklist, I feel is the most important item needed. As a retired Submarine sailor you never left port without everything checked right down to the toilet paper. I’m sure I will make mistakes but that list will reduce the number. Be safe in your journeys. Bye now
Since you got your Prevost, are you done doing reviews of other class A motorhomes? I bet some of the manufacturers you visited before would love you to do an update on new features.
The Gadget Guru tiffin!
That’s a good idea. I can only wonder which Class A manufacturers would welcome this type of review?
Where is Siren’s seatbelt? Is it optional in the US?
I guess that’s why the more expensive Coach’s have the “Seat Lap / Shoulder Belts” incorporated into their Swivel Seats…
@JaLyn JaLyn No the Provost only have passenger lap belts because it is a swivel seat, only the driver seat has the 3 point seat bealt
She just has the Lap Belt portion on,,, the Shoulder portion that goes across the chest is behind her… Like most passengers do… Boo, Bummer, Nada,
A-No No !!!
I love Siren !
Seatbelt on your passenger?
That question is answered in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=My99beRsm7k
What is the name of your go to dashcam?
I know that this off this topic. Would it be better usually to buy, and upgrade an old Wanderlodge, or to start with a clean OTR road bus like an MCI?
Where can we get a copy of your checklist? .. Thank you!
Andy & Siren I think you should publish your Checklist and it looks like you cover everything. That is very important to go through every piece you cover before a trip !!!
Siren & Andy. Good idea, why don’t you Publish this book. if it is as good as your videos it would be great to have for anyone traveling in a Motor… Thanks George
